MAKES 30
1 cup white sugar (250ml)
1 cup brown sugar (250ml)
1 cup Sunspread Crunchy
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
2 cups sifted cake flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 cup chocolate chips
Pre-heat oven to 160ºC.
Cream together sugars, margarine and Sunspread.
Beat in eggs.
Stir together flour and baking soda, add to creamed mixture.
Beat just till well mixed, stir in chocolate chips.
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking pan.
Flatten slightly with back of spoon.
Bake at 160ºC for about 15 minutes or till lightly brown.
Cool slightly before removing from pan to cooling rack.
